TRANSFORMING ACCESS AND
LIVES OF RURAL COMMUNITIES
The design and build projects involved the JKR bridges and council bridges, many of which were temporary and semi-permanent in nature. They were constructed and assembled during the colonial era and were mostly scattered across the rural areas serving the local communities.
The projects which commenced in 1997 also presented a major logistical challenge back in the day because road access to a number of the remote rural construction sites was severely limited. The company overcame this challenge by coming up with new and efficient approaches relying on river transport to mobilise all machineries, equipment, and materials. The project management also enabled Titanium to deliver all projects ahead of time.
